Stars in the House continues tonight (8pm ET) with THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD Reunion with Donna Murphy, Judy Kuhn, Patti Cohenour, Betty Buckley, Rupert Holmes, Howard McGillin and John Herrera.

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company announced today that applications for the seventeenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters are now available. Applications will be accepted from June 1 - June 30, 2021. The winner will be selected in November of 2021.

The Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts (WIPA) Performing Arts School presents a free voice master class on Friday, January 22 at 4:00 p.m. EST. McGowan will work with Performing Arts School students online, enabling audience members the opportunity to learn from anywhere in the world.

Full casting was announced today for PrideArts’ virtual reading of Christopher Shinn’s OTHER PEOPLE, a comedy set around the holidays in New York City’s East Village, involving relationships past and present among four men and one woman. Chicago actor and director Tim Ashby, who will direct the reading, announced his cast today.

Broadway's Rema Webb will star as Fannie Lou Hamer and Kena Anae has been cast as Music Man in Premiere Stages production of Cheryl L. West's Fannie Lou Hamer, Speak On It!. The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell S. Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) presented the fifteenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Angela Sclafani & Benjamin Velez. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, was presented by Kate Baldwin on Monday, December 2nd from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater.

The New York Pops performs the timeless music of Rodgers and Hammerstein on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. in Find Your Dream: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein joined by guest artists Laura Michelle Kelly and Max von Essen, as well as Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA. The concert spans all eleven of Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic collaborations, including 'People Will Say We're in Love' from Oklahoma!, 'You'll Never Walk Alone' from Carousel, 'Some Enchanted Evening' from South Pacific, 'I Have Dreamed' from The King and I, and 'Climb Ev'ry Mountain' from The Sound of Music.
