MLIMA'S TALE Comes To Life At The Rep

Alliance Theatre Names Lawrence Bennett The New Director Of Production

After conducting a thorough national search, the Alliance Theatre is pleased to announce that Lawrence Bennett has been chosen as the new Director of Production for the Alliance Theatre, beginning July 19, 2021.  Bennett brings to his new role 15 years of production management and technical direction experience in a variety of company leadership positions.

In April 2021, Parent Artist Advocacy League and Blackboard Plays announced the 1st Annual Black Motherhood and Parenting New Play Festival, the four works that comprise the lineup, and the partner theatres with whom they are producing the plays: Bishop Arts Theater Center, Detroit Public Theater, Oregon Shakespeare, and St. Louis Rep.

The Stratford Festival’s “Macbeth” premieres Thursday, April 8 and is available on demand through July 7, 2021. The lavish Stratford Festival film is free to Center Theatre Group subscribers and supporters and $10 for all others.
