The Abbey Theatre presents Come on Home by Phillip McMahon (Town is Dead, RIOT), directed by Rachel O'Riordan (Artistic Director Sherman Theatre) on the Peacock Stage from 13 July - 4 August.

Applications are now open for National Theatre Young Technicians, a free programme offering an exciting opportunity for young people to develop their skills and learn about a variety of backstage and off-stage roles from top industry professionals.

St. Ann's Warehouse will present the U.S. Premiere of The Jungle, the immensely acclaimed Good Chance Theatre co-production with the National Theatre and Young Vic. Currently opening a five-month run at London's Playhouse Theatre on the West End, The Jungle comes to St. Ann's beginning December 4, 2018.

Following on from the successful tour in 2017, Lee Dean and Daniel Schumann are extending the UK Tour of Tom Kempinski's award-winning play DUET FOR ONE, directed by Robin Lefevre, with Belinda Lang reprising her acclaimed performance as Stephanie Abrahams and joined on this tour by Jonathan Coy as Dr Feldmann. The tour will begin at Oxford Playhouse on Tuesday 28 August 2018.

The Star Seekers by the Wardrobe Ensemble is headed to the Dorfman Theatre at the National Theatre this August. It's an interactive space show for children aged three to eight years old, but with plenty for the whole family to enjoy. We got a sneak preview of the show and the chance to chat with its creators at its press launch last week.

 On Monday June 18, TDF, which is celebrating 50 years of service to audiences and the performing arts community in 2018, honored Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning playwright TONY KUSHNER at its 50th Anniversary Gala. Mr. Kushner's Tony Award-winning masterwork, Angels in America, which is currently receiving its first Broadway revival with the National Theatre production at the Neil Simon Theatre is running through July 15.

Tony nominated theatre luminary Austin Pendleton directs and adapts a new stage version of Richard III, Shakespeare's greatest villain, in WARS OF THE ROSES: HENRY VI & RICHARD III, which begins performances August 1st at the 124 Bank Street Theatre. The play combines texts from William Shakespeare's Henry VI Part 3 and Richard III, to create a version, which has never been seen before. The production stars Pendleton as Henry VI and Matt de Rogatis as Richard III, while giving a fascinating take on one of history's most notorious villains. The opening is set for Saturday, August 4th at 7PM. WARS OF THE ROSES: HENRY VI & RICHARD III will play a limited engagement through August 19th. The National Theatre announces new information, and recaps its upcoming season.

The National Theatre of Great Britain's Olivier and Tony Award®-winning production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME has opened in Brisbane (playing until 24 June) as part of an Australian tour including Canberra from 27 June, Sydney from 4 July, Adelaide from 31 July and Perth from 8 August. The tour comes after an acclaimed sell-out debut season in Melbourne earlier in the year and an Asian tour. 

Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC), recipient of 8 Helen Hayes awards, including its most recent win for Outstanding Original Play or Musical Adaptation, 2018, brings to the stage familiar friends, new and old, as they learn to navigate the world in its action-packed 67th season. A season of classic and beloved stories featuring the wonderful imaginations of children, this season promises to be one of Adventure Theatre MTC's biggest adventures yet.

Following a sold out run earlier this year at Bristol Old Vic with Education, Education, Education, The Wardrobe Ensemble return to Bristol with the world premiere of South Western, a spaghetti western set in the South West which interrogates ideas of heritage and mythology.

The award-winning hit new Broadway musical Mean Girls, produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman, and Paramount Pictures, has once again broken the August Wilson Theatre box office record for an eight performance week, grossing $1,572,995.95 for the week ending June 17, 2018. A new block of tickets has been released for performances through Sunday, July 7, 2019 with group bookings open through November 24, 2019.

The Almeida Theatre today announces two new Almeida Young Company shows.

Director of Nuffield Southampton Theatres, Samuel Hodges, today announces Labour MP, Jess Phillips will join the writing team for the world premiere of Women In Power. The production sees some of the UK's most influential female voices, including Wendy Cope, Jenny Eclair, Suhayla El-Bushra, Natalie Haynes, Shappi Khorsandi and Brona C Titley, come together to write this musical comedy based on the Greek classic, The Assemblywomen. Directed by NST Associate Director Blanche McIntyre, the production opens on 6 September at NST City and runs until 29 September.

RONJA RÆNINGJADÓTTIR will make a heartwarming appearance at the National Theatre of Iceland this fall, running from September 16 to November 4. 

Ned Bennett's production is a gruelling watch, and has contained within it many moments that shock, enlighten, provoke and surprise. Despite its transfer to the National Theatre, the production is still, as Ken Nwosu states to the audience, 'surrounded by white people.'

Award-winning playwright Patricia Loughrey and composer Thomas Hodges, whose critically acclaimed play Dear Harvey has been making waves across the nation since its debut in 2010, are thrilled to announce their original LGBTQ musical Sonata 1962 will making its Off-Broadway debut this August as part of the 2018 New York Musical Festival's (NYMF) Next Link Project.

The hard-nosed sales team in this darkly funny classic will then visit Birmingham, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Richmond, Brighton and Cardiff with further tour dates to be announced shortly.
