Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse continues its hit run of a free 'screened' readings with IN THE SEASON, a one-act play by Langdon Mitchell, via live stream video, with talkback to follow, on August 1st, 2020 at 8 PM, EST.

During this time when productions all over the world have been put on pause, we are coming together to celebrate plays that have left their mark on theater history. This week we will be focusing on the plays of Tracy Letts. Today's play, Mary Page Marlowe!

Manhattan Theatre Club presented the world premiere of The Perplexed, written by Tony Award winner Richard Greenberg (Take Me Out, The Assembled Parties). The Perplexed is directed by MTC's award-winning Artistic Director Lynne Meadow (The Cake, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife).

The Perplexed is now in previews ahead of a March 3rd opening night at MTC at New York City Center – Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse revives Dion Boucicault's THE POOR OF NEW YORK, with music from the era. The limited run from April 19 through May 19, 2019, plays at the Playhouse home at 220 E 4th Street. Artistic Director Alex Roe directs.

Due to overwhelming ticket demand, Second Stage Theater has announced a one-week extension of the New York Premiere of TRACY LETTS' acclaimed play, MARY PAGE MARLOWE. The production will now play through Sunday, August 19.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company's highly anticipated world premiere production of MARY PAGE MARLOWE, written by Pulitzer- and Tony Award-winning playwright and ensemble member Tracy Letts, is helmed by Artistic Director Anna D. Shapiro, who directed Letts's internationally acclaimed August: Osage County. She teams up with him again for this intimate and moving production in Steppenwolf's 40th anniversary season. The show is currently in previews for an April 10 opening night and runs through May 29, 2016 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St).
