Mansa Productions founder Kellon Akeem has announced that Y'lan Noel (“Insecure”) has been cast as the lead in Mo McRae's directorial debut A LOT OF NOTHING. Producers for the thriller include Inny Clemons, McRae, who co-wrote the screenplay with Sarah Kelly Kaplan, Anonymous Content, Mansa Productions founder Kellon Akeem and Jason Tamasco on behalf of Bad Idea. Golden Globe-nominated actor David Oyelowo will serve as an executive producer for the project along with Mansa Production's Yandy Smith, Kim Hodgert and Nina Soriano on behalf of Anonymous Content as well as Zak Kristofek for Bad Idea and Ethan Lazar. Leslie Woo is currently casting the project, which is set to begin shooting principal photography this spring.

The Latin American Cinemateca of Los Angeles (LACLA) presents a special screening of the renowned Mexican film En la palma de tu mano (In the palm of your hand) on Sunday, February 23 at the Downtown Independent in Los Angeles, CA. Baxter has become a staple in the Tampa Bay Theatre scene with such visionary productions of Jekyll & Hyde, and Disney's The Little Mermaid. He does the same here with the no-nonsense, no-frills but completely captivating production of this musical which can be described as The Field of Dreams of Musical Theatre, where if you build it they will come! Going back to pulling out all the stops, SLT even invited Broadway Star and the Original Brooklyn from the Broadway production Eden Espinosa to opening night. After listening to Eden last night speak about how emotionally moved she was from this performance, I knew SLT had a Golden Ticket with BKLYN.

What is exceedingly special about the Wilma's production is that all storytelling elements work together in perfect harmony to create a visually stunning, entertaining and thought-provoking production. 

Magic Goes Wrong, the box office hit created by Mischief Theatre with magic legends Penn & Teller, today announces a magical cast transformation at the Vaudeville Theatre, from March 2020.
