BWW caught up with Matty Hutson to chat about bringing Don't Hold Back to the 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present the New York debut of Alex Mendham and His New Yorkers, the vibrant 11-piece jazz orchestra featuring vocalist Allison Young (Postmodern Jukebox), on Saturday, July 22 at 7:00 PM.

As they dreamed up a batch of songs firmly centered on their storytelling, the band joined forces with Brad Cook (Bon Iver, Hiss Golden Messenger, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Waxahatchee), a producer whose distinct vision helped SCI to fully embrace the album’s rootsy simplicity. Check out the tour dates!

Based on Casey McQuiston’s novel, Red, White & Royal Blue marks the feature film co-writing and directing debut of Tony Award-winning playwright Matthew López (The Inheritance). The film stars Sharon D Clarke, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Nicholas Galitzine, Clifton Collins Jr., Rachel Hilson, with Stephen Fry and Uma Thurman. Watch the video now!

The Fringe Encore series will be extending the Fringe's Best International Show, Take Me As I Am: A Joni Mitchell Tribute, for two performances.Take Me As I Am: A Joni Mitchell Tribute is an intimate concert experience of Mitchell's most memorable songs and the stories that inspired them. 

SLUGish Ensemble’s third recording In Solitude. Led by composer and multi-reedist Steven Lugerner, In Solitude brings the chemistry of the band’s 2022 album, Live At Sam First, under the hood of Oakland’s venerable 25th Street Recording studio, extending the signature SLUGish minimalistic math-jazz to Lugerner’s inspired original compositions.
