TALE OF DESPEREAUX by PigPen Theatre Co. at The Old Globe Theatre is based on the children's book of the same name by Kate DiCamillo, and deftly explores love, loss, dreams, and forgiveness in this charmingly whimsical musical.

Just last week, Gwon previewed some of the new songs at Green Room 42, featuring  cast member Taylor Iman Jones, plus Dave Thomas Brown, Arielle Jacobs, Jessica Vosk, Bonnie Milligan, Ben Fankhauser, Deborah S. Craig, Raymond J. Lee, Sarah Lynn Marion, Destinee Rea, and Sevan Greene. Watch below as they sing 'Why I Love Football,' 'What We've Got,' and Clairvoyant.'

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) is pleased to announce full casting for of the world premiere of the new musical Scotland, PA, featuring a book by Michael Mitnick, music & lyrics by Adam Gwon, directed by Lonny Price and choreographed by Josh Rhodes.

On Monday, July 8 (6pm) Green Room 42 will present An Evening With Adam Gwon (Ordinary Days, 'Submissions Only'). The special event will feature performances by: Taylor Iman Jones (Head Over Heels), Dave Thomas Brown (American Psycho), Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin), Jessica Vosk (Wicked), Bonnie Milligan (Head Over Heels), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Deborah S. Craig (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Raymond J. Lee (Groundhog Day), Sarah Lynn Marion (Ordinary Days), Destinee Rea (Book of Mormon), Sevan Greene (Aftermath), and a special preview of songs from Adam Gwon's new musical SCOTLAND, PA. Click here for tickets.

Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE… to be held on Monday, June 3rd at The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM. Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences.

On Friday, May 17th Feinstein's/54 Below hosted the return of composer Ben Caplan with his song cycle,  I Don't Want to Talk About It.

What good is sitting alone in your room this week? If you don't already have plans to see a Broadway show, come out to see your favorite Broadway stars in a cabaret act instead. After Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Highlights this week include Laura Osnes, 54 Sings Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Broadway Sings Unplugged: Beyonce.

Roundabout Theatre Company will host their fifth annual Casino Night, at the American Airlines Theatre (227 W. 42nd St). All proceeds benefit Roundabout Theatre Company's many programs, including the Education programs, the Theatrical Workforce Development Program and Artist Residencies.
