Broadway Stars Turn to Cameo to Raise Funds for BC/EFA

As we continue to adjust to a spring without Broadway, performers are uniting to make a difference. A slew of stars are offering up their friendly faces on Cameo- a way for fans to connect to artists they love- and donating the proceeds to BC/EFA's Emergency Assistance Fund. Just look out for stickers on social media noting 'Benefiting Broadway Cares' or other charities.

Disney has officially been making magic on Broadway for 25 years! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Disney on Broadway is partnering with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS to put on a special benefit to celebrate the momentous occasion. Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, If/Then, Bring It On, Almost Famous) will take to the stage to celebrate Brooklyn Children's Theatre's 15th anniversary at the Edison Ballroom on Monday, October 21st, along with Broadway's Heidi Blickenstaff ([title of show], Something Rotten), Syndee Winters (Hamilton, The Lion King), and Gayle Turner (The Wiz), plus special performances by Shakina Nayfack (Hulu's Difficult People) and current BCT students.
