Just yesterday, the show registered voters from all 50 states outside of the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Miss out on the fun? As BroadwayWorld reported last week, Rob Ashford just directed a private industry reading of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas with an all-star cast, including Broadway favorite Kristen Chenoweth. Now according to her recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the show might go on to have a life on Broadway. She explains: 'I think there is financing in place and I think it has to be a decision we can make and I have another show that I'm involved with about Tammy Faye Bakker. It's all about timing.'

Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will begin the New Year with staged readings for the New York premiere of A Taste of Chocolate, a new musical with book, music and lyrics by Timothy Ware, with additional lyrics and arrangements by Alvin Hough. Directed by Warren Adams, the readings will be held today, January 26th at 2pm & 6pm and tomorrow, January 27th at 2pm at The National Opera Center of America: Audition Recital Hall (330 Seventh Avenue - between 28th & 29thStreets).

His clients include the Ohio and Mississippi Departments of Education, National Police Activities League, Pride, FBLA and Big Brothers Big Sister of New York. Shaun Derik's GOOD parties feature live jazz musicians, Broadway performers, an in-house chef as guests come together to benefit a specific cause. This year's cause: Toys for Inner City Children. Tony Winner Priscilla Lopez Will Return to Broadway's PIPPIN Tonight

Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez, who appeared in the legendary original cast of A Chorus Line and was also a replacement for the role of "Fastrada" in the original production of Pippin in 1973, will re-join the all-new Tony Award winning production of Pippin in the role of "Berthe" beginning tonight, Tuesday, November 11. Lucie Arnaz played her final performance in the role on Sunday, November 9 and has rejoined the US national tour. Pippin is now playing through Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).
