Lea Michele, along with the Broadway cast and orchestra of Chess, will visit The Late Show with Stephen Colbert next week for a musical performance from the hit revival. 

In this edition of Words From the Wings, we catch up with Regine Sophia who is in the Ensemble of Chess Broadway. She takes us backstage at the Imperial Theatre to share some of her favorite backstage moments, must-haves, and more!

Ben Cameron’s long-running and award-winning Broadway Sessions will return to The Green Room 42 for a brand new seasons on Thursday, February 12th, for a late-night celebration of all things Broadway. The upcoming show will spotlight cast members from the  Broadway company of Chess! The company will be performing directly after their evening show.

xProducers Tom Hulce, Robert Ahrens and The Shubert Organization along with Creative Partners Productions have just announced that Chess will record a Broadway cast album on Monday, January 26, 2026. A release date will be announced shortly.

Out Front Theatre Company, Georgia's premier LGBTQIA+ theatre, will present BLKS by Aziza Barnes from January 29 to February 14. The play offers a humorous yet poignant look at the lives of three queer black women in New York City, exploring themes of intimacy, resilience, and community.
