2023 marks the 50th Anniversary of the legendary smash hit musical The Rocky Horror Show, as it continues to play a newly extended tour through 2023 to sell-out crowds. Richard O’Brien’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll musical celebrates 50 years of non-stop partying with this special anniversary production.

Amanda Seyfried is currently workshopping a musical version of “Thelma & Louise', with Evan Rachel Wood in talks to join the project. 

Idina Menzel is headed back to the stage! She will star in the world premiere musical Redwood, which Menzel began developing nearly 20 years ago. The production will premiere at La Jolla Playhouse in 2024.

​​​​​​​The 50th Anniversary production of iconic Rock 'N' Roll musical The Rocky Horror Show has confirmed the final cast members for its Australian Tour which kicks off global celebrations at Theatre Royal Sydney on February 14 before seasons at Adelaide Festival Theatre from April 13 and Melbourne's Atheneum Theatre from May 18.  Full casting for the Adelaide season will be confirmed soon.

Irina Maleeva (The Merchant of Venice) is set to recur on the show, along with Christopher Stanley (Mad Men), W Earl Brown (The Book of Boba Fett), and Josh Pais (The Dropout), while James Remar (Yellowstone), Paul Ben-Victor (Pam & Tommy) and Hilda Boulware (Modern Family) are set for guest-starring roles.

Actor, presenter and winner of Strictly Come Dancing Ore Oduba is to don his fishnets once again as he returns to the role of Brad Majors in this special 50th Anniversary production of Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show for a limited six week run at the Peacock Theatre, London.

​​​​​​​A brand-new Australian tour will kick off global celebrations in honour of iconic Rock 'N' Roll musical The Rocky Horror Show as it marks its 50th Anniversary in 2023.

Drama Desk and Drama League nominee Sierra Boggess will lead the cast of “The Secret Garden,” as Lily, Mary's aunt and Archibald Craven's wife, which will play at Center Theatre Group / Ahmanson Theatre February 19 through March 26, 2023.

The film will follow three best friends as they travel to Key West, Florida to be bridesmaids for the surprise wedding of their college girlfriend, Marilyn (Midler). Once they arrive, their sisterhood is rekindled, the past rises up again in all its glory, and there’s enough sparks, drinks and romance to change their lives in unexpected ways.

This brand new Australian production will open at Theatre Royal Sydney in February 2023 starring Australian superstars Jason Donovan as Frank N Furter, and Myf Warhurst as The Narrator. Joining them will be Ellis Dolan as Eddie/Dr Scott, Darcey Eagle as Columbia, Ethan Jones as Brad, Deirdre Khoo as Janet, Loredo Malcolm as Rocky and Henry Rollo as Riff Raff. Further exciting casting will be announced soon.

Austin’s oldest film festival, aGLIFF has announced the Queer Spectrum screenings for October and November 2022, along with special events and community screenings throughout both months.

The trailer highlights moments from the upcoming season, including Stewart taking on anti-transgender legislation, questioning the American tax proposition and confronting economic globalization, with special appearances from LeVar Burton and Susan Sarandon. Watch the new video trailer now!

State Theatre New Jersey presents a screening of the cult classic movie musical, The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday, October 22 at 11pm. Prior to the screening, the State Theatre is hosting a pre-show party with a full-service bar and DJ from 9pm to 11pm. The evening will be hosted by Rutgers University’s Cabaret Theatre. Tickets are $15 and includes a goodie bag of props.
