City Theatre Announces 2022-2023 Season

City Theatre Company, Pittsburgh’s home for contemporary plays, has announced the details of the theatre’s 48th season of bold, new works, beginning in September 2022. City Theatre’s second season post-pandemic shutdown will feature five plays with first-time and returning artists, plus special events.  

BEASTS Comes to Boston Playwrights' Theatre

Boston Playwrights' Theatre (BPT) concludes its 2021-22 season with Beasts by Cayenne Douglass. Running from April 7-17, the play is directed by Kelly Galvin.

Tony Award-nominated and five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb has announced the complete line-up for the rescheduled 25th SUMMERWORKS festival of new plays. SUMMERWORKS will run May 20 – July 2, 2022 at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street) and will feature productions of three new plays.

Sheffield Theatres Announces Elin Schofield as Third Director for ROCK/PAPER/SCISSORS

Sheffield Theatres today announced the third director of the trilogy of new plays, Rock/Paper/Scissors by Chris Bush. Elin Schofield joins the previously announced Robert Hastie (Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres) and Anthony Lau (RTYDS Associate Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres) in the creative team.

Florida Repertory Theatre Will Present BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY

Florida Repertory Theatre’s 2021-2022 Season continues the rock ‘n’ roll sensation, “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” by Alan Janes.
