NEW YORK CITY CENTER announced that the 2024 Encores! series will feature special two-week runs of all three productions for the first time in the series’ history, celebrating 30 years of the Tony-honored series.

The winners of the 2022 Achates Philanthropy Prize, the only annual prize that celebrates first-time supporters of culture in the UK, were announced last night at a special ceremony at Birmingham Symphony Hall, presented by philanthropist and long-standing Symphony Hall donor, Peter How.

NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) will host its fifth fundraising event, “Night of Comedy”, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Cipriani South Street, Casa Cipriani in New York. The evening will pay special tribute to NRDC Honorary Trustee and Night of Comedy Founder, Anna Scott Carter, for her tremendous service on behalf of NRDC and its mission.  

The star-studded New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's beloved musical, Into the Woods, officially opened on Broadway at the St. James Theatre. This weekend, Scottish Ballet transformed the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh for the most glamorous night of the year, Scottish Ballet's 50th anniversary. Guests took over the theatre's stage for a dining experience like no other - giant gold pipes and twinkling lights hung from the rafters, bouquets were peppered with golden ferns, even the event finale was dusted with 'SB50' confetti falling from the 'sky'.

Daryl Roth presents the world premiere of Accidentally Brave, written by and starring Maddie Corman(Appropriate, Next Fall), which opened Off-Broadway last night, March 25, 2019 at DR2 Theatre in Union Square.  The play is directed by Tony Award Nominee Kristin Hanggi (Rock of Ages, bare). Previews began on Monday, March 11 for the production's limited engagement through Sunday, July 14. at the DR2 Theatre (103 E. 15th St, NYC).

Producers Tim Levy (Director, NT America) and Jordan Roth (President, Jujamcyn Theaters) announced today that the Olivier Award®-winning National Theatre revival of Tony Kushner's masterwork, Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, has established the 'Angels Fund' to provide hundreds of $5 tickets to each part of the play to NYC-area LGBTQ & HIV/AIDS service organizations. Some of the organizations that have received these specially-priced tickets include: Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC), SAGE, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center and The LGBTQ Center.
