Photo Flash: ACCIDENTALLY BRAVE Celebrates Opening Night Off-Broadway

Daryl Roth presents the world premiere of Accidentally Brave, written by and starring Maddie Corman(Appropriate, Next Fall), which opened Off-Broadway last night, March 25, 2019 at DR2 Theatre in Union Square. Courageous, daring, and unflinchingly honest, Accidentally Brave is Maddie Corman's inspiring true story about discovering a new normal when her world falls apart. This new play challenges perceptions, captivates audiences and sparks an emotionally charged discussion that will leave you wondering... what would I do?

"Maddie is a wonderfully thoughtful person, actor and writer," says producer Daryl Roth. "Accidentally Brave is her story, personal yet universal, and goes to the core of what it means to be human in a world with no certainty. I am proud to bring Maddie's beautiful play to the stage, and trust audiences will respond to it as strongly as I have."

"I have been so moved by the honesty and bravery of those who have shared their deeply personal stories with the world, and privately with me, over the past year and a half," says Maddie Corman. "Their strength has helped so many people begin to heal and feel less alone. My hope is that sharing my story - in all its messy glory - will open people's hearts and help shine a light on things we feel must be kept secret."
