The Muny announced that Jessica Vosk, Jarrod Spector, John Riddle, Rodney Hicks, Tally Sessions, Phillip Johnson Richardson and Taylor Louderman will star in The Muny premiere of Chess, July 5-11, 2023.

Cher has confirmed that she is working on two new albums and a tour. While on the red carpet of the Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love, the musical icon revealed that she will go to London with her boyfriend, Alexander “A.E.” Edwards, two collaborate on music.

The brand-new production of The Cher Show starring Debbie Kurup, Danielle Steers, and Millie O’Connell, opened at Theatre Royal Brighton on Tuesday 1 November for a 2 week residency, playing until Saturday 12 November 2022. The ASCAP Foundation Alan and Marilyn Bergman Lyric Award is a new program established by the award-winning songwriting team, Alan Bergman and his late wife, Marilyn. The legendary duo wrote lyrics for film, stage and television for more than five decades, which earned them multiple Emmys, Grammys and three Oscars.

The Cher Show UK and Ireland tour has released all new photos to celebrate the 100th performance which will take place tomorrow, Saturday 13 August, at Milton Keynes Theatre.

The South Carolina New Play Festival has announced that it will take over Greenville's downtown August 12–14, 2022, with readings of new plays and musicals at the Peace Center, Greenville Theatre, Warehouse Theatre, and the South Carolina Children's Theatre, and a closing-night cabaret at Genevieve's featuring Broadway celebrities Jarrod Spector and Kelli Barrett.

The Cher Show will feature Sara Gettelfinger (Ogunquit Playhouse's The Witches of Eastwick, Broadway's Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) as Star, Charissa Hogeland (“Jesus Christ Superstar: Live in Concert”) as Lady, Madeline Hudelson (Surflight Theatre's Nice Work if You Can Get It) as Babe, and more!

Cher takes the audience by the hand and introduces them to the influential people in her life, from her mother and Sonny Bono, to Bob Mackie. It shows how she battles the men who underestimated her, fought the conventions and, above all, was a trailblazer for independence.

The producers of the brand new production of The Cher Show have announced the full cast joining Debbie Kurup, Danielle Steers and Millie O’Connell, all starring as Cher – Star, Lady and Babe respectively. Lucas Rush will play Sonny, Jake Mitchell will play Bob Mackie, Sam Ferriday will play Greg Allman and Tori Scott will play Georgia. Joining them are Jordan Anderton, Jasmine Jules Andrews, Carla Bertran, Catherine Cornwall, Áine Curran, Sam Holden, Samantha Ivey, Aston Newman Hannington, Ingrid Olivia, Clayton Rosa, Chay Wills and Guy Woolf.
