During this time when productions all over the world have been put on pause, we are coming together to celebrate plays that have left their mark on theater history. This week we will be focusing on the plays of Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Arthur Miller. Today's play, Death of a Salesman!

Sadly, the 2020 Olivier Awards won't be going ahead as planned due to the coronavirus shutdown, although ITV will broadcast a highlights show. So, BroadwayWorld reviewers have been thinking back to some of our favourite Oliviers winners, nominees and performances from past years - plus some of the incredible nominees from this year who we would have loved to see honoured.

We caught up with composer and comedian Vikki Stone to chat about the release of her concept album #ZoologicalSociety.

It may feel like a strange time to celebrate World Theatre Day, but while we can't gather together in person right now, we can still appreciate the incredible performances that have inspired us - and look forward to when theatres reopen and the shows can go on!

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that it will produce all previously scheduled Spring/Summer 2020 productions as part of the 2020-2021 season, including Jeanine Tesori and Tony Kushner's CAROLINE, OR CHANGE starring Sharon D Clarke at Studio 54, and Noah Haidle's BIRTHDAY CANDLES starring Debra Messing at the American Airlines Theatre.

The Olivier Awards might not be going ahead, but you can still enjoy a special performance from the Kiln Theatre's Olivier-nominated show BLUES IN THE NIGHT, thanks to this #ThrowBackThursday treat! 

Royal & Derngate today announced that it is releasing a concept album on 27 March for a new digital musical commissioned for online and social media distribution called #ZoologicalSociety and written by multi-award-winners Vikki Stone and Katie Mulgrew. The release will be launched with a live concert performance at BEAM 2020, the UK's leading showcase of new British musical theatre, taking place at Royal & Derngate. In line with the announcement, a short film by award-winning animator Tim Wheatley has been released to introduce each of the musical's characters and the album will be available to stream or to download from all leading streaming services including Spotify, Amazon and Apple alongside Royal & Derngate's website.

Internationally acclaimed vocalist CHRISTINA BIANCO returns to her old stomping grounds, The Hippodrome Casino [Lolas Underground], for an evening of unforgettable music, comedy and impressions.

Roundabout Theatre Company's Caroline, or Change will begin performances on March 13, 2020 and open on April 7, 2020 at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street).
