After 18 years, Caroline Thibodeaux is back on Broadway. Caroline, or Change, the beloved musical by Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori, returned to Broadway last night at Studio 54 in a stunning new revival from Roundabout Theatre Company. Peppermint - the trailblazing actress, singer, reality star, and activist who continues to defy limitations is set to release her brand new album, A Girl Like Me: Letters To My Lovers October 16 via PEG Records/Warner Music Group/ADA.

Sis will present Our Offering, written by Antonio Lasanta and Gage Tarlton, presented over Zoom.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will begin the 2019-2020 season with the vibrant one-act musical, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND on Sept. 7 in the Marx Theatre. The production will run through Oct. 6, with opening night on Sept. 12.

Chick Flick the Musical, the new musical comedy with book, music and lyrics by Suzy Conn and directed by David Ruttura will close at The Westside Theatre on Sunday, March 16, 2019. At the time of closing, the show will have played 11 previews and 12 performances.  

While this reviewer is always up for a tub of popcorn and a screening of 'Crossing Delancey' or 'Muriel's Wedding,' Suzy Conn's spirited CHICK FLICK, THE MUSICAL is more accurately aimed at connoisseurs of the genre; those whose everyday conversation is packed with quotes from Nora Ephron screenplays and who are experts at determining which chardonnays go with Barbra and which with Meryl.
