BroadwayWorld is bringing you the inside scoop on this year's Jimmy Awards with student blogger Ben Eble- a nominee from Durham's Triangle Rising Stars. Earlier this year, he won the title of Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Seymour in Chapel Hill High School's Little Shop of Horrors. Read Ben's first entry below!

The musician, actor, and all-around teen idol Jet Jurgensmeyer has released his highly anticipated self-titled debut album today, listen to it HERE. The album features two songs (“Real World” and “Just Another Moment Away”) written by pop star Sabrina Carpenter as well as Jurgensmeyer's latest single “This Is Your Moment.” It was recorded at the Legends Studio in Nashville, TN and produced by Butch Baker.

More artists and activities have been added to the REACH Opening Festival, the free 16-day celebration highlighting the many and varied ways that the Kennedy Center's newly expanded campus will connect, inspire, and engage audiences and artists.

Tom Littler's latest venture is a glorious four-version take on Oscar Wilde's masterpiece The Picture of Dorian Gray, adapted by Lucy Shaw. They examine the original text and extrapolate its myth, stripping it down to its core and leaving the soul of the story bare for everyone to see. Shaw becomes one with Wilde, using the elegance of his seminal material to write a poetic play that might as well have come from the man himself, while Littler orchestrates the script with elegant passion.

Jermyn Street Theatre end their Portrait Season with Pictures of Dorian Gray, an exciting new take on Oscar Wilde's masterpiece directed by Tom Littler. Four actors juggle their roles, switching nightly (or, on matinee days, twice daily), presenting four different gender combinations that shine a new light on the story. We caught up with the director to learn more about the project, and his long-standing link to Dorian Gray.
