Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce the complete casting for the world premiere of Continuity, the new play by Lortel and Drama Desk Award nominee Bess Wohl (Small Mouth Sounds, American Hero) and directed by Tony Award nominee Rachel Chavkin (Hadestown; Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812). The production will feature Max Baker (1984, The Explorers Club), Jasmine Batchelor (The River), Rosal Colon ('Orange is the New Black,' Between Riverside and Crazy), Curran Connor (Pidgeon, A Picture of Autumn), Garcia ('Tales of the City'), Darren Goldstein (Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, The Madrid), Alex Hurt (Cardinal, The Whirligig) and Megan Ketch (The Big Wedding, 'American Gothic').
Winner Announced Of Judith Barlow Prize From National Not-For-Profit History Matters/Back To The Future

Not-for-profit History Matters/Back to the Future has announced its winner for this year's Judith Barlow Prize. The Annual Judith Barlow Prize is awarded to a student playwright for an exceptional one-act play inspired by the work of an historic female playwright. Annually, the first place student winner of the prize receives a $2,500 award and a reading of their work in New York City, with a $500 award to the participating professor. The second place student winner receives a $1,000 award.

Roundabout Theatre Company will welcome back Emmy, Golden Globe & SAG Award winner and Oscar & Tony Award nominee Alec Baldwin, and Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Anne Heche in a one-night-only reunion benefit reading of Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's comedy Twentieth Century, reuniting the original stars of Roundabout's 2004 revival with director Walter Bobbie.

The Trustees of The Laurents / Hatcher Foundation, Inc. are pleased to announce that Something Clean by SELINA FILLINGER is recipient of the Laurents / Hatcher Foundation Award. Ms. Fillinger will receive $50,000 for the work, and Roundabout Theater Company, who will produce the premiere this spring, will receive $100,000 towards the production.

Rivendell Announces 2019 Season

Rivendell Theatre Ensemble proudly announces the first two shows of its 2019 Season including the Midwest Premieres of I Wanna F**king Tear You Apart by Morgan Gould and directed by Jessica Fisch and Something Clean by Selina Fillinger and directed by Lauren Shouse. Something Clean is a co-production with Sideshow Theatre and will be performed at the Victory Gardens Richard Christiansen Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Chicago. I Wanna f**king Tear You Apart and other Rivendell productions will be performed at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, 5779 N. Ridge Avenue in Chicago. Casting and a third production will be announced at a later date.

The annual Retreat in June is a centerpiece of McCarter's LAB, a platform and creative incubator devoted to ongoing theatrical development and artist cultivation. The 2018 Retreat will take place from June 6 - June 13.
