Shattered Globe Theatre opens its 33rd season this fall with Arthur Miller's classic drama A View From the Bridge, reviving a game-changing work from its past with a cast of Shattered Globe ensemble members, veteran Chicago actors and fresh new faces. 

Chicago’s Shattered Globe Theatre announced its 2023-24 season today, embarking on a bold journey through the rocky waters of our world today, while showcasing three diverse and provocative perspectives with a gritty classic, comedic absurdism, and magical realism.

Due to popular demand, Shattered Globe Theatre has announce one added week of performances for its hit U.S. premiere musical London Road, extending through Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Shattered Globe Theatre and Chicago Dramatists will celebrate the life and legacy of longtime Chicago playwright Joel Drake Johnson at a public memorial on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 4 pm – 6 pm at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Shattered Globe Theatre has announced the addition of six new Ensemble Members and six new Artistic Associates. Ensemble members include Demetra Dee, Tina M. Jach, Tina Muñoz Pandya, Hailey Rakowiecki, Jazzma Pryor and Devonte E. Washington. Artistic Associates include Mikey Gray, Lawrence Grimm, Jason Lynch, David Antonio Reed, Adam Schulmerich and Leslie Ann Sheppard.

Shattered Globe Theatre today announced it will postpone its winter production of Rasheeda Speaking due to the current surge of the Omicron variant. Shattered Globe Theatre has announced the appointment of Amber D. Montgomery as the company's first Associate Artistic Director. SGT also welcomes Emma Durbin as its new Marketing and Community Engagement Director and bids farewell to Anna Gelman, who served as the company's Associate Producer.
