Broadway In Chicago announces there will be a digital lottery and rush tickets for AMERICAN GIRL LIVE. This new production will play Broadway In Chicago's Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) for a limited two-week engagement April 30 through May 12, 2019.

Whodunit? The Ringwald. In the fall. With the candlestick. Clue, the 1985 cult classic comedy, is currently running through November 5th at the theatre in Ferndale. Jonathan Lynn, director and screenwriter of beloved comedy, personally created this stage adaption with additional material by Hunter Foster, Eric Price, and Sandy Rustin so fans of the film will be happy to know that the clever and quotable wordplay remains largely intact with brand-new twists and tricks! The Cape Playhouse wraps up its 92 season with Clue: On Stage, a hilarious farce-meets-murder-mystery.  Directed by Hunter Foster, the production stars January LaVoy, Stephen DeRosa, Nancy Opel, and Brian J. Carter. A New England Premiere and pre National Tour Engagement Clue: On Stage runs August 21-September 1, 2018.

Following a well-received Sarasota Festival of New Plays this past spring, Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces an addition to its New Play Development program. Three new works will be staged throughout the month of August featuring some of the latest work by George Brant, Barry Harman and Keith Herrmann, and Sandy Rustin. "Good comedies with exciting stories are hard to find and we have found three well-crafted tales from various eras, points of view, and comedic angles," shared FST Associate Artist Catherine Randazzo. Talkbacks will follow each reading, giving audiences the chance to engage with each piece more deeply, while also giving playwrights valuable feedback. These readings are free and open to the public, though reservations are required.
