The Second Street Players are proud to announce the 2019 Season. 2019 will showcase some classic stories along with  some new shows that have not been preformed in the area yet. There will be 5 Main Stage Shows and 3 Children's Theater shows. With this announcement the Second Street Players are also putting out a call to Directors. Anyone that is interested in directing one of the shows should submit a letter of intent by August 31, 2018.

The Boch Center announced today that the all-new musical AMERICAN GIRL LIVE will bring six performances to the Boch Center Shubert Theatre from Friday, February 22 - Sunday, February 24, 2019. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 18 at 10:00AM.

Theatrical licensor Broadway Licensing has secured North American licensing rights to Clue: On Stage, which premiered at the Bucks County Playhouse.

Midtown Direct Rep (MDR) is delighted to present its second reading of its 2017-1018 staged reading series, Theater at The Woodland, with a presentation of FEAR, written by Matt Williams and directed by Mark Armstrong. This event will be performed for one night only on Sunday, December 3rd at 7:00pm at The Woodland (60 Woodland Rd. Maplewood, NJ), where MDR is the resident theater company. The reading is $20 (advance purchase), $25 (if purchased at the door) and open to the public. Student/Senior discounts are also available. Midtown Direct Rep (MDR) launches its 2017-18 reading series, Theater at The Woodland, with a free presentation of SOMETHING TO LIVE FOR, a new play with music, written by Rob Zellers, directed by Billy Porter, with music supervision by Zane Mark and musical direction by Darryl Ivey. 

Theatre Aspen has announced a partnership with The Wheeler Opera House for the fourth annual Aspen Theatre Festival. The collaboration will support a developmental production of THE MAD SHOW, created from the twisted minds of 'the Usual Gang of Idiots' behind MAD Magazine. Beginning September 12th, the work will culminate in two presentations at the Wheeler Opera House.

This summer, the fun happens on Wednesday nights -- and it just got funnier with Amy Spanger (July 19) and Molly Ranson (August 16) joining the line-up!
