Roundabout Theatre Company presents the Broadway revival of Tony Kushner & Jeanine Tesori's Tony Award nominated and Olivier Award winning musical Caroline, or Change, starring 2019 Olivier Award winner Sharon D Clarke reprising her role as 'Caroline' from the acclaimed West End production.

During the first night of BroadwayCon, the First Look event was held. The event gave fans a first look into this season's new musicals. November was an exciting and busy month for the students at Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (Kinder HSPVA)! Throughout the month, several notable alumni – including actor Kevin Cahoon and Broadway actress Samantha Williams – paid visits to their alma mater to lead master classes and offer their expertise to current students.

Broadway's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, is currently in its third record-smashing year at the Music Box Theatre. Following the success of the Broadway production, a national tour launched soon after, bringing the story across North America. A sit-down production made its way to Toronto earlier this year, and will be followed by a West End production set to debut in October 2019 at the Noel Coward Theatre.

Last night, The Jimmy Awards held their 11th annual ceremony at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre. The top awards went to Ethan Kelso and Ekele Ukegbu, for Best Performance by an Actor, and Actress, respectively. Kelso took home the prize for his performance as Will Bloom in Big Fish at Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts in Logan, Utah, while Ukegbu won for her performances as the title role of Aida at Elmont Memorial Junior-Senior High School in New York City.

Dear Evan Hansen has just announced a cast change! Phoenix Best will play her final performance as Alana Beck on Broadway on Sunday, May 5. Samantha Williams will join the cast as Alana Beck on Tuesday, May 7, making her Broadway debut.

The LA Phil celebrates its centennial year with LA Fest, a genre-spanning exploration of the sounds of the city that has inspired it for the last 100 years. Across six performances between October 4 to 14, LA Fest will offer a glimpse into Los Angeles' complex musical makeup, featuring orchestral collaborations, led by Gustavo Dudamel, with some of LA's most world-renowned musicians, including Herbie Hancock, Andrew Bird, and Moby; the world premiere of Sustain, a new work by Andrew Norman; additional world premieres of LA Phil-commissioned pieces; performances from LA favorites La Santa Cecilia and Cuco; and more at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
