Rose Theatre has announced new ticket pricing and two world premieres as part of its upcoming autumn season.

 Talea Ensemble continues its 15th anniversary season with Talea at 15 on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, followed by Columbia Composers Presents Talea Ensemble on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music.

International Contemporary Ensemble is giving the world premiere performance of Yvette Janine Jackson’s T-Minus: A Radio Opera on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. at Roulette.

These latest reissues, which continue Craft's celebration of the iconic jazz label, include choice albums from Shelly Manne & His Friends, Ornette Coleman, Phineas Newborn, Jr., Leroy Vinnegar, Curtis Counce's You Get More Bounce With Curtis Counce and Art Farmer's Portrait of Art Farmer, which is available today.

​​​​​​​Talea Ensemble – comprised of sixteen bold and boundary-breaking  musicians, with a mission to champion musical creativity, cultivate curious listeners, and bring visionary new works to life – gives a repeat performance of Georg Friedrich Haas's Solstices in the U.S. on the winter solstice, Thursday, December 21, 2023.

These latest reissues, which continue Craft's celebration of the iconic jazz label, include choice albums from Shelly Manne & His Friends, Ornette Coleman, Phineas Newborn, Jr., Art Farmer, Leroy Vinnegar and Curtis Counce, whose You Get More Bounce With Curtis Counce is available now.

It was the twelfth studio album from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, showcasing the band’s melodic range—from Rock ‘n’ Roll, to Country, to electric and acoustic Blues, to classic moody ballads. Since its release the album has grown in stature and popularity, showing an enduring appeal with the bands most ardent fans.

New York audiences can anticipate multiple world and US premieres, a special winter solstice concert, public showcases of two new operas in the workshopping process, numerous commissions, and a recording residency.

Rose Theatre has announced full casting for the premiere of Shooting Hedda Gabler, a Rose Original Production in association with The Norwegian Ibsen Company, a new play by Nina Segal after Henrik Ibsen, directed by Jeff James.  Antonia Thomas plays the role of Hedda, with Christian Rubeck as Henrik, Avi Nash as Ejlert, joined by Anna Andresenas Berta, Matilda Bailes as Thea, and Joshua James as Jørgen. The Casting Director is Sam Jones CDG.

Each title, originally engineered by Roy DuNann and/or Howard Holzer, boasts lacquers cut from the original master tapes (AAA) by the GRAMMY®-winning engineer (and former Contemporary Records employee) Bernie Grundman, while all LPs are pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings (QRP) and presented in Stoughton old style tip-on jackets.

A warm summer welcome is headed to Lincoln Square with the return and expansion of Lincoln Square Business Improvement District's FREE lunchtime summer concert series.

Rose Theatre and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse Theatres in association with Swinging The Lens have announced full casting and further creative team for William Shakespeare's Richard III, directed by and starring Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury in Bridgerton). 

Lyric Hammersmith Theatre has announced the return of Gary Owen’s critically acclaimed Iphigenia in Splott, originally commissioned and produced by Sherman Theatre and later performed at the National Theatre, directed by the Lyric’s Artistic Director Rachel O’Riordan, with Sophie Melville reprising her role as Effie.

The HBO Original documentary film TONY HAWK: UNTIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF, directed by Sam Jones and executive produced by Mark Duplass, Jay Duplass, and Mel Eslyn. The documentary features Tony Hawk, Stacy Peralta, Rodney Mullen, Mike McGill, Lance Mountain, Steve Caballero, Neil Blender, Andy MacDonald, and more professional skateboarders.

Rachel Brosnahan (Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and her banner, Scrap Paper Pictures, in collaboration with VICE Studios and Wingate Media executive produce. Brosnahan will be joined by a star-studded ensemble cast including Milo Ventimiglia, Josh Groban, John Benjamin Hickey, Harry Lloyd and Morgan Spector.
