THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present a special holiday evening with NYC drag royalty, “Black Friday with Flotilla DeBarge,” on Friday, November 24 at 7:00 PM.

Singing actress and cabaret savant Sally Mayes will make her way back to the NYC stage with a new series of shows at The Green Room 42 and Broadway World Cabaret is celebrating.

Cabaret great, Tony Award nominated singing actress Sally Mayes announced this week she will kick off her new series of shows at The Green Room 42 on December 2nd.

The audience thought that they were getting a show but what they got was a lesson... in greatness.

It's not every day you get to see the development of a new musical in real time, let alone one with major Broadway talent attached. I've been lucky enough to see the development of The Crinolynns, a new musical by composer Aaron Gandy and librettist/lyricist Scott Logdson, through the first stages of its development.

On Monday, September 18, singer/songwriter Amanda McBroom returned to the Birdland stage with her musical director/songwriting partner Michele Brourman and special guest Sally Mayes in a show titled “Such Good Friends.” See photos from the show.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 1st for Broadway/Television/Film Stars Donna Lynne Champlin, Sally Mayes, and Valerie Wright in the world premiere concert of the new musical, THE CRINOLYNNS. The concert will take place on September 30th in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

Greensburg's Stage Right! and their GhostLight Initiative will present the show at the Carey Performing Arts Center on the campus of Saint Vincent's College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 30th.

When going into a theatre to see a brand new musical, it is very difficult to know what exactly you are going to get.  Are you going to want to linger and hope there is more, or are you going to be hunting furiously for the exit?  I am happy to say that the world premier INDIGO now playing at the Human Race Theatre Company was the first of the two.  I love theatre but it isn’t often that I leave a show contemplating purchasing tickets for a return visit.  I still haven’t ruled it out.
