Sondheim Unplugged will celebrate its 100th performances as series creator passes the torch to a new host.

Rubicon Theatre Company, Ventura’s non-profit professional theatre company, will continue the company’s 2022-2023 Season with the World Premiere of LONESOME TRAVELER: GENERATIONS, conceived by George Grove and James O’Neil, with musical direction by Rick Dougherty and George Grove and direction by Rubicon Co-Founder James O’Neil.

The tenth annual NIGHT OF A THOUSAND JUDYS show was the place to be last night, and a full house of Joe's Pub patrons knew it.

The lineup of custom Judy Garland Art has been announced as part of the 10th annual “Night Of A Thousand Judys” – the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center written and hosted by Justin Elizabeth Sayre – at Joe’s Pub on Sunday, June 5. The Ali Forney Center is the nation’s largest agency dedicated to helping LGBTQ homeless youth. The auction, which takes place at the concert to raise additional funds for The Ali Forney Center, features work by Hanna Barczyk (United States), Chris Gash (United States), Dana Ledl (Czech Republic), Daniel Nolen (United States), Kati Szilagyi (Germany) and Gaurab Thakali (England). Sondheim Unplugged took place at Feinstein's/54 Below on April 24. A celebrated New York event since 2010, the BroadwayWorld and Bistro Award-winning series Sondheim Unplugged features some of Broadway and cabaret’s most dynamic voices, accompanied by piano only, delving into the musical world of Broadway’s master composer.
