The Celebration Theatre's program of celebrating new works returns with Ryan Spahn's NORA HIGHLAND airing Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 7:30pm PT on Celebration Theatre's YouTube Channel. NORA HIGHLAND chronicles the casting of a notable gay character in an upcoming Broadway revival, while challenging the phenomenon of straight performers being lauded for their work in queer roles.

Conceptualized and executive produced by Andy Lynn, this FREE one-day-only streaming event, with its heart in Chicago, stretches from coast to coast featuring artists, educators, streamers and mental health professionals from across the United States. Chicago locals include Echaka Agba, Breon Arzell, Micah Beauvais, Tyler Brown, Darby Fitzsimons, Tyler Gabrielle, Tina El Gamal, Tommy Malouf, Taylor Raye, Shane Richlan, Amaya Thompson, Shalyn Welch, Wanese Zarour, Martin Yousif Zebari and others. Additional performers include Annelyse Ahmad, Mark Jacob Chaitin, Jeremy Guyton, Kevin O'Connell and Sheldon White.

CELEBRATION THEATRE will present, as part of its Celebrating New Works reading series, NORA HIGHLAND by Ryan Spahn and performing one night only on Tuesday, December 15th at 7:30pm online at Celebration Theatre's YouTube Channel.

Vineyard Theatre has announced a schedule change for Lessons In Survival. The Actors Fund recently announced that SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, produce and host Plays in the House as part of its weekly lineup of Stars in the House, a daily online show at 8pm ET. Plays in the House will air special matinee performances at 2pm until Broadway reopens.
