The stars came out last night to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Audience Rewards. Among those in attendance were presenters Kerry Washington, Daniel Radcliffe and Steven Pasquale, along with performers Caissie Levy and Laura Osnes, and attendees Bobby Cannavale, Mean Girls stars Taylor Louderman, Ashley Park, and Barrett Weed, Wicked stars Jessica Vosk and Ryan McCartan, Beautiful star Abby Mueller and more.

Just last week, Ryan McCartan assumed the role of Fiyero in Wicked, making his Broadway debut! McCartan joins a cast which currently includes Jessica Vosk as Elphaba, Amanda Jane Cooper as Glinda, Isabel Keating as Madame Morrible, Kevin Chamberlin as The Wizard, Jye Frasca as Boq, Kristen Martin as Nessarose, and Martin Moran as Dr. Dillamond. 

Heathers The Musical, based on the classic 1980s cult film of the same name, concludes its run at Murfreesboro's Center for the Arts this weekend. Directed by Rachel Jones, the show - which has played to sell-out audiences during its first two weekends, features a cast of talented actors who are having the time of their young lives while bringing the story to life onstage.

Tony Award-winning Children's Theatre Company is holding auditions for all student roles for the four-time, Tony Award-winning production of Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical at Mall of America on August 18, 2018 between 9:30am to 3:30pm. CTC is encouraging students of any/all genders, racial backgrounds, abilities, and experience levels to audition. All student roles are being considered for this and other CTC productions through this audition. There will be an additional call-back audition at a later date.

Broadway Kids Jam has released their latest jam, 'Candy Store' from the Off Broadway and soon to be West End musical, Heathers. The 'Candy Store' jam features Joshua Turchin (The Pill, TrevorLIVE LA, A Christmas Story the Musical), Molly Richardson (Matilda), Mckayla Twiggs (Anastasia, Les Miserables, Once), and Sami Bray (1984, How the Grinch Stole Christmas).

As one of the human characters in the world premiere of playwright Tony Cookson's MUTT HOUSE; Ryan McCartan sings, leads and reacts with a zany pack of canine creatures. Featuring original songs from Cookson, John Daniel, Robb Curtis Brown and David O, MUTT HOUSE begins previews July 10, 2018 at the Kirk Dougas Theatre. We managed to sniff out some answers from Ryan in between his rehearsals.
