Proctors Collaborative will launch its first ever Fandom Fest. Nerds, geeks, bookworms, gamers and everyone in between are welcome to come to Proctors in Schenectady, Friday, August 12- Sunday, August 14. Fandom Fest will allow our guests to share the love they have for their favorite show, anime, game or movie with new fans, young and old in what will become an annual event. 

William Shatner ('Star Trek,' 'Boston Legal'), Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, Suicide Squad), a Clerks cast reunion that includes writer/director Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Brian O'Halloran, Trevor Fehrman and Jeff Anderson, Carl Weathers ('The Mandalorian,' Rocky), the 'Smallville' trio of Tom Welling, Kristen Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum and 'The Mandalorian' standout Ming-Na Wen are among the first wave of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the first FAN EXPO St. Louis, May 13-15 at America's Center.

Premiering this July, the CG-animated prequel (13 episodes) follows 10-year-old SpongeBob during his summer at sleepaway camp and stars Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton), all of whom are reprising their iconic roles in this new series.

Nickelodeon announced today it will host the first-ever SpongeBob Fan Shellabration at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, Calif., Sept. 7-8, where the loveable character regularly appears to entertain kids and families of all ages.

The Grove Theatre announces the opening of 'Deathtroupe', an original play by Mary Willard, author of 'Moonshine', 'Occasional Sin', and 'Elvis and Juliet'. 'Deathtroupe' is a comedy with blood-curdling screams, a murderer by the name of ‘The Chopper' running loose, grilled cheese sandwiches, Jell-o, and Captain Morgan.
