Superhero SpongeBob SquarePants comes ashore to make a personal appearance at the Los Angeles Zoo on Friday, February 6, 2015, the very same day that 'The SpongeBob Movie - Sponge Out of Water,” from Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies, opens in theaters. The world's favorite sea dwelling invertebrate greets visitors and poses for pictures between 11 am and 4 pm at the Zoo's Eucalyptus Grove.

Nickelodeon announced today it will host the first-ever SpongeBob Fan Shellabration at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, Calif., Sept. 7-8, where the loveable character regularly appears to entertain kids and families of all ages.

The Grove Theatre announces the opening of 'Deathtroupe', an original play by Mary Willard, author of 'Moonshine', 'Occasional Sin', and 'Elvis and Juliet'. 'Deathtroupe' is a comedy with blood-curdling screams, a murderer by the name of ‘The Chopper' running loose, grilled cheese sandwiches, Jell-o, and Captain Morgan.
