Ten award-winning and nominated Broadway and television stars will be joining New York City theatre students for a free livestream musical performance with arranged music by Dan Pardo (Company at Barrington Stage, Netflix’s John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch) who is providing instrumental accompaniment throughout the production.

The world premiere musical THE VISITOR was originally scheduled to open at The Public Theater tonight, April 15. In honor of Opening Night, The Public has just released a music video of David Hyde Pierce (Walter), Ari'el Stachel (Tarek), and the cast of THE VISITOR performing the song 'Heart In Your Hands.'

The world premiere musical THE VISITOR, is currently in rehearsals! THE VISITOR, features music by Pulitzer Prize winner Tom Kitt, lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winner Brian Yorkey, book by Kwame Kwei-Armah and Brian Yorkey, choreography by Lorin Latarro, and is directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. Performances begin on Tuesday, March 24 and run through Sunday, May 10.

Just last night, Manhattan Concert Productions presented a 50th Anniversary Celebration of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. The musical HAMILTON will conclude its more than three (3) year run in Chicago at Broadway In Chicago's CIBC Theatre (18 W. Monroe St.) on January 5, 2020, it has been announced by producer Jeffrey Seller. Chicago was the first city outside New York where HAMILTON opened; the production began performances on September 27, 2016 at what was then The PrivateBank Theatre.

The national tour of Les Miserables will welcome Paige Smallwood in the role of 'Eponine' beginning Sunday, August 5. Paige takes over the role for Emily Bautista who was just announced to star as 'Kim' in the new national tour of Miss Saigon. Parker Dzuba will step into the role of 'Gavroche' beginning August 9 as Jonah Mussolino departs.
