The Drama League of New York's Associate Artistic Director Nilan passed away due to a sudden illness involving complications from flu. Nilan is survived by his mother, Melle Johnson, and his sister, Malease Johnson.

WICKED, the West End and Broadway musical phenomenon that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, will welcome Michael Fenton Stevens (The Wizard), Graham Kent (Doctor Dillamond), and welcome back former cast member Laura Harrison (Standby for Elphaba) to London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre from Tuesday 12 March 2024.

Next up at Theatre 40 will be the stage reading of Andrew Davies’s Prin April 28th and 29th. Jules Aaron directs Juliet Mills (as the titular Prin), Maxwell Caulfield, Ivy Khan, Ann Hearn Tobolowsky, Joe Clabby and David Hunt Stafford. Juliet was most gracious to chat with me on her day off from filming Grey’s Anatomy.

Directed by Kyrus Keenan Westcott, The Color Purple runs at The Ritz from February 10th through February 26th.

With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season already upon us, The Ritz Theatre Company prepares to present the enchanting Golden Age musical She Loves Me, a perfect rom-com show for 'the most wonderful time of the year.' Directed and choreographed by Roberta Curless, the production runs at The Ritz from December 2nd through December 18th.

Cahoots Theatre Company Ltd in association with Jamie Clark Theatre presents the UK premiere of William Humble's play Wodehouse in Wonderland, starring Robert Daws and directed by Robin Herford, on a UK Tour which opens at Malvern Theatres on 26 January 2023.  

Endangered Species (theatre) Project's Frederick Shakespeare Festival is back with two of the bard's most celebrated works: Hamlet and The Merry Wives of Windsor, to be performed at the Hodson Outdoor Amphitheater at Hood College.

The Arctic Playhouse (TAP) announced today that due to a malfunction with the main drainage pipe at the theatre, its current production of Exit Laughing, which opened to rave reviews last week and was scheduled to continue for the next two weekends, must pause for an unexpected intermission to allow for repairs. Performances will resume on Thursday, March 3, and will continue through Sunday, March 13.
