Reba McEntire is set to grace the stage of Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Sunday, November 5 for a special night of songs and storytelling alongside Melissa Peterman, her co-star in the hit sitcom Reba. Country Sunshine: The Legendary Ladies of Nashville With Katie Deal, which the Milwaukee Repertory Theater delivers gems of country classics from legends ranging from Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline to Shania Twain.

Channeling classic country-pop with a sultry, rock-n-roll swagger, “I Did It for Love” was co-written with Lucie Silvas (Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, Tricia Yearwood) and producer Dustin Ransom (Richard Marx, Chely Wright, Emily West). The hook-filled stomper was inspired by the actions of a fellow artist.

“Wonder Drug” is from McKenna’s new album, 1988, which was released earlier this summer via CN Records/Thirty Tigers. Produced by Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell) and recorded at his studio in Savannah, GA, 1988 is named for the year McKenna married her husband, and serves as a love letter to her family and lifelong friendships.
