CHAIN THEATRE has announced casting for the world premiere production of Jean Dobie Giebel's CHASING THE RIVER, directed by Ella Jane New.

Chain Theatre presents world premiere production of Jean Dobie Giebel's CHASING THE RIVER, directed by Ella Jane New. CHASING THE RIVER, which was a finalist for the ATHE Excellence in Playwriting Award and has been optioned for TV, will play a limited Off-Broadway engagement at Chain Theatre (312 W. 36th Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10018). Performances begin Friday, February 7 and continue through Saturday, February 29.

EAST TO EDINBURGH begins on Tuesday, July 10 for a limited engagement through Sunday,  July 29. This year, the event will feature stories of standing up to injustice written by celebrated authors, Catherine Filloux, Lyle Kessler, Jose Rivera, and Regina Taylor. This year, the event will be Sunday, July 23, and will benefit the New York Civil Liberties Union with 'The Protest Plays,' stories of standing up to injustice written by celebrated authors, CATHERINE FILLOUX, Lyle Kessler, JOSE RIVERA, and Regina Taylor.

We opened last night to a packed house and a strong first performance of Freeway.

Last night I dreamed that I missed tonight's opening! I was attending a performance of Mary Poppins instead and by the time I realized I was not in the right place, I'd missed the opening night performance of Freeway.
