Producing Director Alexander Fraser, Executive Producer Robyn Goodman and Producer Josh Fiedler announced casting and production details for the musical comedy — the second new work debuting at the Playhouse this season. Bucks County Playhouse’s 2025 season is sponsored by Bank of America.

A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, February 23, 2025. At the time of closing, the production will have played 151 performances, including 31 previews.

The complete creative team has been set for A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical. The production opens on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). Previews begin on October 16, 2024. 

Branford Marsalis joins the Broadway music team for A WONDERFUL WORLD: THE LOUIS ARMSTRONG MUSICAL, alongside Daryl Waters, Zane Mark, and Darryl G. Ivey.

Full casting has been announced for A Wonderful World, A New Musical about the Life and Loves of Louis Armstrong, which was previously announced to star James Monroe Iglehart.  The production also welcomes multiple Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award nominee Vanessa Williams to the lead producing team.  Find out more about the show, and the cast, here!

The first national tour of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will welcome newcomer Jessie Davidson, who will step into the leading role of Vivian Ward beginning the week of October 10 in Memphis, TN.

The producers of the first national tour of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL have announced that the touring production has recouped its $4.7 million investment after 39 weeks on the road. The Equity tour, which launched in October 2021 at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI, will continue through May 7, 2023 with the final scheduled engagement in Sacramento, CA.

PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL has announced the extension of the tour through May 7, 2023, with the final scheduled engagement taking place in Sacramento, CA. The Equity tour, which launched in October 2021 at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI, will have played 61 cities across North America by the end of its run.

Broadway superstar and Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal (Rent, AIDA, Something Rotten) will once again step into the well-heeled shoes of Edward Lewis after thrilling audiences on Broadway for a limited set of performances in 2019. He will be joined by rising star Olivia Valli (Jersey Boys, Wicked) as the charming and charismatic Vivian Ward.

Performances of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL at the Fabulous Fox run November 16-28. Show times are Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Saturday afternoons at 2 p.m., Sunday afternoons at 1 p.m. and Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee performance on Thursday, November 18 at 1 p.m.

Joining previously announced stars Adam Pascal as Edward Lewis and Olivia Valli as Vivian Ward are Jessica Crouch as Kit De Luca, Kyle Taylor Parker as Happy Man/Mr. Thompson; and Matthew Stocke as Philip Stuckey.
