Providence Performing Arts Center Announces 'Cool Summer Nights' Concert with Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes

The Providence Performing Arts Center has announced the first  Cool Summer Nights concert, which features Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes and John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 7:30P. This will be the first live, in-person concert that PPAC has presented since the live entertainment industry shutdown on March 12, 2020.  

Joe Bonamassa to Perform at Providence Performing Arts Center

Joe Bonamassa is finally getting back on the road. For over a year, the live concert industry came to a full stop. During this time, Bonamassa put his efforts into raising money for his non-profit Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation through the Fueling Musicians Program.

Television personality, author and Food Network star Alton Brown has announced “Alton Brown Live – Beyond The Eats” will visit the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC)  on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 7:30P.  

Ringo Starr Announces Revised Ringo And His All Star Band Tour Dates

Ringo Starr announced today that his Spring 2021 North American tour, which includes a Sunday, June 13, 2021 concert at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), has been rescheduled to 2022. Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band will now perform at PPAC on Sunday, June 12, 2022.  

BankNewport Announced as Title Sponsor of PPAC's Arts Showcase

J.L. “Lynn” Singleton, President and CEO of the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), has announced that BankNewport is the title sponsor for PPAC’s Arts Showcase series. The 2020/2021 Arts Showcase series is being offered virtually to Rhode Island students in elementary and middle schools.

The Community Outreach Committee of the Providence Performing Arts Center has announced that applications for the ARTS Scholarships 2021 program will be available on Thursday, January 14, 2021; applications will then be accepted until Friday, February 26, 2021 at 4P.
