André Johnson III, a junior at the University of Memphis in the Department Theatre and Dance majoring in Theatre, has been tapped as the recipient of the first Theatre Memphis Priscilla Presley Scholarship award. André's enthusiasm and dedication to create a path for himself in the theatre environment stood out as a beacon to those who believe in themselves and hard work, according to the scholarship selection committee.

Fresh from the West End production of Moulin Rouge The Musical, West End leading lady and singing sensation Zoe Birkett will play Spirit Of The Ring alongside EastEnders’ Beppe Di Marco, Michael Greco as Abanazar. Joining them is CBeebies favourite Ben Cajee in the title role of Aladdin, returning favourites Tam Ryan as Wishee Washee and Ian Adams as Widow Twankey, Duane Gooden as the Genie, Ian Billings as the Notary and introducing Wolverhampton’s own Sofie Anné as Princess Jasmine.

Kacey Musgraves has shared her rendition of 'Can't Help Falling in Love' from the ELVIS Original Motion Picture Soundtrack via House of Iona/RCA Records. This latest release follows Doja Cat’s melodic single “Vegas” and Swae Lee & Diplo's “Tupelo Shuffle” featuring Gary Clark Jr. The track was released with a new music video featuring film footage.

The soundtrack is set to be released the same date as Baz Luhrmann’s forthcoming film ELVIS, starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks. The track incorporates “Hound Dog” in a unique, singular way that only Doja Cat could ever do.

ELVIS is an epic spectacle from filmmaker Baz Luhrmann that explores the life and music of Elvis Presley (Austin Butler) through the prism of his relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks). The soundtrack features Elvis’s body of work spanning the 1950s, 60s and 70s, while also celebrating his diverse musical influences.

Country music legend T.G. Sheppard is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his 1982 album “Finally.” The title track became Sheppard’s tenth number one song, among 21 other number one hits he attained on the country chart, and proceeded to remain at the number one spot for a total of ten weeks.
