Adalbert Lallier Releases 'I Swear to You, Adolf Hitler, Fealty and Obedience'
by Christina Mancuso
- Dec 10, 2013
During the Second World War, author Adalbert Lallier was a forced draftee of the Armies of the Third Reich, and in his tour of duty he bore witness to a terrible atrocity - the murder of seven Jewish prisoners in KZ-Theresienstadt, a concentration camp run by the Waffen-SS. This became the inception of his new novel, I Swear to You, Adolf Hitler, Fealty and Obedience, which depicts the wanton killing, and how the daughter of one of the victims went on the hunt for the killer, raising the question of what 'true justice' can be exacted from Nazi war criminals.
BWW Reviews: Fells Point Corner Theatre's ORPHANS Deserves Love
by Cybele Pomeroy
- Nov 23, 2013
Let me just say that I am a fan of small community theatres tucked into residential neighborhoods, so naturally I'm inclined to feel kindly towards FPCT. Aside from the issue of parking on the streets of Fells Point, that is. The theatre, which is in its 27th season of operation, has been updated bit by bit, so the overall feel of the interior is contemporary, open and welcoming. The theatre seats are comfortable and don't squeak at all. At intermission, there are refreshments, including wine, available in the lobby.

The author David Lafaille was a witness and participant of that era. In 'At The Edge of Reason' he attempts to give readers a taste of the magic and conflict of that Era.

by Christina Mancuso

Inspired to capture in a thrilling novel a moment in history in which 'a sector of the disenfranchised was afforded access to the justice system in a meaningful way,' lawyer-turned-author David Lafaille publishes 'In Harm's Way.' Lafaille's crime thriller details one man's attempt to level the playing field one person at a time in an arena where the mechanistic approach to justice dominates through a seamless blend the most controversial of issues related to sex, drugs, violence, spirituality, dedication and drama.
