Arvada Center to Stage Regional Premiere of DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY, 4/26-5/15

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will open the regional premiere of Death Takes a Holiday directed by Arvada Center Artistic Producer, Rod A. Lansberry in the Main Stage Theatre on April 26, running through May 15, 2016. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m., Previews are April 22 - 24 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Moderated Talk Backs are scheduled on Friday, May 6 following the 7:30 p.m. performance and Wednesday, May 11 following the 1:00 p.m. performance. Musical Theatre Heritage returns to its radio roots with a revival of the 1946 Irving Berlin musical play, 'Annie Get Your Gun.' This MTH production stars the huge voice of Shelby Floyd in the title role of Annie Oakley. Baritone Sam Wright plays Annie's true life husband Frank Butler. Jim Korinke, a long time respected Kansas City actor, is the immortal Buffalo Bill Cody.

?Audiences for the Seacoast Repertory Theatre's coming production of the musical 'Titanic' will not have to worry about spoilers - the ship sinks. But they may nonetheless be in for pleasant surprises in this staging of the Tony-winning musical, starting with the fact that it is not the same story as the blockbuster movie it preceded.
South Bend Civic Theatre to Present 1776

In this year of the presidential election and the bicentennial celebration of the Hoosier state, the South Bend Civic Theatre is presenting 1776 in the Wilson Theatre. The original, Broadway production of this musical depiction of the birth of our nation won the Tony Award for Best Musical and now this theatrical, historical journey comes to South Bend for three weekends between April 15th and May 1st. A wonderful cast of volunteer actors illuminate the story of the Second Continental Congress for a unique perspective of this iconic event in our nation's history: with men that are emotional, proud, uncertain, charming, and irritable humans wanting the best for their families.

Sting's THE LAST SHIP to Make Regional Debut in Salt Lake City This Season

Pioneer Theatre Company, Utah's premier professional theatre, will open its 2016-17 season with the THE LAST SHIP, the new musical with music and lyrics by the pop superstar Sting and book by the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning writers John Logan and Brian Yorkey. PTC's production will be the first since the show's Broadway run in 2014-15.
