Disney+ has announced that Let It Be, director Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s original 1970 film about The Beatles, will launch exclusively on Disney+ May 8, 2024. This is the first time the film is available in over 50 years. First released in May 1970 amidst the swirl of The Beatles’ breakup, Let It Be now takes its rightful place in the band’s history.

With a live rendition of the Oscar-winning score by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and the Philharmonia Chorus, the latest in the Royal Albert Hall’s “films in concert” series brings the The Lord of the Rings epic fantasy saga to a majestic conclusion.

Straight off of the sold-out first leg of the Straight Into Canada tour, Hip Hop icon Ice Cube will embark on part two of the tour, with eleven new dates across Canada. The Bach Festival Choir, Orchestra and Youth Choir will present The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Live in Concert at the Walt Disney Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center of the Performing Arts with a full showing of the Oscar winning film on a huge high definition screen accompanied by live orchestra and choir.

The Golden Key for Emerging Talent, given to actors and directors who will be destined to grace our screens for years to come, will be presented to Thomasin McKenzie for her breakout role in the NEON Rated release of EILEEN,  also starring Anne Hathaway and Shea Wigham. The film will screen as the Closing Night film of the festival. 

The Cleveland Orchestra has revealed its movie presentations for the 2024 Blossom Music Festival.

“Now And Then – The Last Beatles Song” is now streaming on Disney+! The 12-minute documentary film, written and directed by Oliver Murray, tells the story behind the last Beatles song “Now And Then,” with exclusive footage and commentary from Paul, Ringo, George, Sean Ono Lennon and Peter Jackson.

As announced last Thursday, October 26, the last Beatles song, “Now And Then” will be released this Thursday, November 2.
