BroadwayCon has announced the Tony Award-winning Harry Potter and the Cursed Child cast has joined the BroadwayCon 2019 lineup. As part of the Spotlight series, the panel will feature Jamie Parker (Harry Potter), Noma Dumezweni (Hermione Granger), Paul Thornley (Ron Weasley), Poppy Miller (Ginny Potter), Sam Clemmett (Albus Potter), Alex Price (Draco Malfoy) and Anthony Boyle (Scorpius Malfoy), moderated by Melissa Anelli (Co-Founder of BroadwayCon and author of Harry, A History) on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:45 p.m.

Six weeks of fundraising will culminate in an extravaganza of Broadway stars, extraordinary ensembles and one-of-a-kind performances at Red Bucket Follies at 4:30 pm on Monday, December 3, and at 2 pm on Tuesday, December 4. The show is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Broadway's most sensational onstage and offstage stars, passionate fans, avid collectors and animated bidders celebrated the biggest day for Broadway fans on Sunday, September 30, 2018, as the 32nd Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction raised $906,825 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Yesterday, September 30, the heart of NYC's theatre district housed what fans like to call 'Broadway Christmas,' otherwise known as the 32nd Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The heart of NYC's theatre district will be filled with Broadway stars, fans and unmissable theatrical treasures this Sunday, September 30, 2018, for the 32nd Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Over 100,000 tickets at all price points will be released on today at 11:00 AM ET for the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the fully renovated Lyric Theatre (214 West 43rd Street, New York, NY). This further block of tickets is for performances through June 9, 2019 at all price points starting from $40.

More than 80 legendary, emerging and beloved Broadway and Off-Broadway stars are ready to take photos, sign autographs and meet their biggest fans on Sunday, September 30, at the 32nd Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Over 100,000 tickets at all price points will be released on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM ET for the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. More details will be announced soon

Broadway Barks returns in just a few weeks, and the lineup of stars in attendance has just been announced.

The 20th Annual Broadway Barks, the star-studded dog and cat adoption event benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies, will feature celebrities from the hottest shows currently on Broadway. Just announced to join the event are: Aaron De Jesus (Jersey Boys), Katrina Lenk (The Band's Visit), Storm Lever (Summer: The Donna Summer Musical)

Broadway Barks returns in just a few weeks, and the lineup of stars in attendance has just been announced.

The Tony and Olivier Award-winning Best Play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has set a new Broadway record for weekly ticket sales for a play, reporting a gross of $2,277,446 for the week ending June 17, 2018. This passes the high mark set by the two-part play in previews the week ending April 8, 2018 ($2,138,859) and the previous top grossing play, All The Way, which peaked at $1,623,495 in 2014.

Ahead of the 2018 Tony Awards this weekend, John Dickerson of the CBS This Morning podcast has an extended interview with two stars of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The two-part, five-hour play catches up with the beloved characters 19 years after the final book, as adults with children at Hogwarts. It is nominated for 10 Tony Awards.

In the final scene of the last 'Harry Potter' movie, Harry, Ron and Hermione send their children off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. That's where the new Broadway play, 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,' picks up. J.K. Rowling's beloved characters are adults and their children are having adventures at Hogwarts. The two-part, five-hour play is nominated for 10 Tony Awards and already won a record nine Olivier Awards in England. Jamie Parker, who plays Harry Potter, and Noma Dumezweni, who plays Hermione Granger, join 'CBS This Morning' to discuss stepping into the shoes of such beloved characters, the decision to cast a black woman to play Hermione, and why fans have helped keep the plot under wraps.

New Dramatists, Tony® Honor recipient and the nation's premier playwright development laboratory, just honored Tony®and Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington at its 69th Annual Spring Luncheon tribute. Washington, currently starring on Broadway in The Iceman Cometh, directed by George C. Wolfe, received New Dramatists' 2018 Distinguished Achievement Award. Tributes to Mr. Washington and performances were presented by three-time Grammy Award-winner Branford Marsalis with bassist Noah Jackson, Tony®Award-winners George C. Wolfe and Stephen McKinley Henderson, Constanza Romero (August Wilson Estate), and Pulitzer Prize finalist and New Dramatists resident playwright Kristoffer Diaz (The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity).

The New York Drama Critics' Circle awards were presented at a private cocktail reception last night. Thursday, May 10. The award for best play carries a cash prize of $2,500.
