Great News Potter Fans! And especially those who don't want to wait for the expected Broadway and other productions of the new hit stage play HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD PARTS I & II.

Polish your broom, stock up on floo powder, get in line for the portkey (or if you're old enough, just apparate) -- to New York! The Daily Mail is echoing rumors from earlier this week at the New York Post about a certain, very magical, Broadway transfer.

During the recent Ghostbusters furore, enraged opponents claimed the movie would ruin their childhood. As someone who grew up with the Harry Potter book series - preparing for GCSEs while the characters stressed over O.W.L.s - I can happily declare that this affectionate, spellbinding work only enhances that treasured experience. It's both nostalgic and thrillingly new, a smartly crafted love letter to J.K. Rowling's invention and to theatre itself.

HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD has its official opening this week, with a special gala performance on Saturday 30 July. The eighth story in the Harry Potter series, and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage, is one play presented in two parts. Both parts are intended to be seen in order on the same day (matinee and evening) or on two consecutive evenings.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD is currently in previews in London's West End at the Palace Theatre, where it will open on July 30. Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornily lead the cast as Harry, Hermione and Ron, as part of a company of 42 talented actors. HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD is currently in previews in the West End, with the Official Opening performances of Part One and Part Two set for Saturday 30 July 2016. Set designer Christine Jones is featured in a new behind-the-scenes video, which showcases the craftsmanship at the heart of the production, including Hogwarts' famous moving staircase. Previews for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child just began last night, with opening performances of Part One and Part Two set take place on Saturday July 30, but that hasn't stopped London reviewers from writing about the show.

BBC Worldwide North America has acquired U.S. rights to LONDON ROAD, the film adaptation of the ground-breaking National Theatre play of the same name. 

BBC Worldwide NORTH AMERICA has acquired the U.S. rights to the musical thriller LONDON ROAD, starring Tom Hardy, Olivia Colman and Anita Dobson.

The cloaking spell has been lifted! HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD has found its full West End company.

After months of anticipation, the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child finally begins previews at the Palace Theatre in the West End this week. The new play is a collaboration between Potter creator J.K. Rowling, playwright Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany, and stars Jamie Parker as Harry Potter, Poppy Miller as Ginny Potter, Sam Clemmett as Albus Potter, Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley, Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger, Cherrelle Skeete as Rose Granger-Weasley, Alex Price as Draco Malfoy, Anthony Boyle as Scorpius Malfoy.

Following the publication of Charlie Gray's HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD portraits, the show has released a behind the scenes video of the character photo shoot. Check it out below!

In the second set of Charlie Gray's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child portraits, joining the previously announced Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley and Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger is Cherrelle Skeete who will play Rose Granger-Weasley. Previews for Part One of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will begin on 7 June with previews of Part Two starting 9 June 2016.
