Abingdon Theatre Company will present a reading of Talk to Me, a new musical with book and lyrics by Charlie Sohne, music by Tim Rosser, music direction by Paul Staroba and direction by Joe Barros. Jenn Colella will lead the cast, alongside Zachary Noah Piser (Dear Evan Hansen), Troy Iwata (Be More Chill), and Brynn Williams (Spongebob Squarepants).

On June 29, Snow Pond Center for the Arts will present Broadway Under the Stars: The Classics of Rodgers and Hammerstein with the Snow Pond Symphony Chamber Orchestra. Snow Pond welcomes some of theater's top performers for this one night only event. Directed by Broadway veteran Frances Mercanti-Anthony (Spring Awakening, Jerusalem) and Music Directed by Paul Staroba (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), this spectacular evening is sure to be one you don't want to miss.

Hartford Stage announced today the cast and creative team for the world premiere musical The Flamingo Kid, helmed by Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak. The musical, which closes the 2018-19 season, boasts an impressive cast of Broadway and regional theatre talent. Performances for The Flamingo Kid begin on Thursday, May 9, and run through Sunday, June 9.
New Musical STONE AND SPARROW To Make New York Debut At Feinstein's/54 Below

Feinstein's/54 Below will present a staged concert of "Stone and Sparrow", a new musical by composer-lyricist Alex Ratner and librettist Laurel Durning-Hammond. "Stone and Sparrow" is a period drama about one family's move from the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky to a coal mining town on the eve of the Great Depression. The show was developed at Yale as the Theatre Department's premiere faculty-directed original musical, and was selected as a winner of the 2016 New Voices Project, sponsored by New Musicals, Inc. and Walt Disney Imagineering. The show features an entirely acoustic pop/folk score.

Gingold Theatrical Group (David Staller, Artistic Director) today announced that Ed Dixon, Jeff Harnar, Christine Pedi, Jon Weber, Aaron Weinstein, Lauren Worsham, and Karen Ziemba would join the next presentation of Project Shaw. The 13th season continued on April 30th with SHAW SONGS, a festive cabaret evening of songs that George Bernard Shaw played, sang, and enjoyed (1856-1950). Marcia Milgrom Dodge directs with Paul Staroba serving as Musical Director.
