Beck Center for the Arts will present Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach as part of its Youth Theater 2025–2026 season, based on the beloved children's book by Roald Dahl.

When one thinks of seeing experimental or area premieres of new contemporary scripts at local theaters, one normally doesn’t think of Beck Center for the Arts.  Those kinds of plays are for the likes of Cleveland Public Theatre, Dobama (the self-proclaimed Cleveland’s Off-Broadway theater) or even Ensemble.  Beck is usually the home of ELF, JOSEPH AND THE TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT and LITTLE MERMAID.

Beck Center for the Arts has announced its 2025–2026 Youth Theater Season. The lineup features four productions that highlight comedy, mystery, fantasy, and poignant storytelling, offering opportunities for students and entertainment for audiences of all ages.

 It is only appropriate, since the National Spelling Bee wound down last week, that Cain Park, the Cleveland Heights outdoor entertainment venue, has mounted THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE.

Beck Center for the Arts has announced the third production of their 2021-2022 Youth Theater Season. The 73rd season continues with the beloved musical that started it all for so many fans of musical theater.

Amélie, which is now on stage at Mercury Theatre, is a musical is based on the romantic comedy film of the same name.

Beck Center for the Arts' 2021-2022 Youth Theater Season is filled with entertaining and exciting titles perfect for the entire family. The season starts with a modern, original parody of the cult classic sci-fi comedy Little Shop of Horrors by Russ Stich titled Little Tech Shop of Horrors: When Good Science Goes Bad.

Beck Center’s upcoming Youth Theater production presents a unique opportunity to bring out more than these students’ acting skills; this process also allows for real life writing for stage experience.
