The Actors Centre Renews Fundraising Appeal As Organisation Set To Run Out Of Money By December 2020

Chief Executive of The Actors Centre, Amanda Davey has warned that due to Covid-19, the future of the organisation is at risk as the registered charity, which is also home to the Tristan Bates Theatre, is set to run out of money by December 2020. Following the socially distanced world premiere of Gemma Lawrence's Sunnymead Court, The Actors Centre will remain closed for the remainder of 2020.
BWW Review: UNSAID STORIES, ITV

This week has seen the launch of ITV’s new series, Unsaid Stories. Comprised of short 15-minute films that respond to the Black Lives Matter movement, the project was made in July under Covid-19 filming restrictions. The films are part of ITV’s own efforts to enhance diversity and representation in their work, after the Black Lives Matter movement has exposed the urgent need for organisations and individuals to address systemic racism. The launch of their ‘Diversity Acceleration Plan’ on 9th July follows the lead of many other media outlets and arts organisations.
AMC Networks Announces Fall and Winter 2020-21 Premiere Dates

As previously announced at ComicCon@Home, AMC's The Walking Dead will air its season 10 finale on Sunday, October 4 at 9pm ET/8c immediately followed by the series premiere of The Walking Dead: World Beyond at 10pm ET/9c. Fear The Walking Dead returns for its sixth season on Sunday, October 11 at 9pm ET/8c.
RSC's HAMLET With Paapa Essiedu, and More Will Be Broadcast on BBC Four

The Royal Shakespeare Company production of Macbeth (2018) will be broadcast on BBC Four this Sunday 14 June at 9.30pm as part of Culture in Quarantine. This will be followed by Simon Godwin's landmark production of Hamlet (2016) with Paapa Essiedu in the title role on Sunday 21 June at 9pm.
