On Monday October 5th, MONDAYS For BIDEN, a group created by Broadway Veteran Jeffrey Schecter, held DANCING For DEMOCRACY, a virtual fundraiser to benefit the Biden Victory Fund. The event was held on the Broadway Sessions YouTube Channel and was hosted by Schecter and fellow A Chorus Line Alum, J. Elaine Marcos.

Artists from several hit Broadway musicals came together for a virtual letter-writing party featuring entertainment and engaging conversation with several hundred volunteers - all to promote voter education and engagement ahead of the general election this November.

The acclaimed playwright Mary O'Malley, author of the award-winning comedy ONCE A CATHOLIC, has died at the age of 79. She passed away on September 19, 2020.

Variations on A Theme Called COVID presents their first benefit project, a reading of Ian Doescher's Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope. Shakespeare meets Star Wars in this epic mashup, premiering Friday, October 2nd on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook Live. Proceeds will benefit three New York-area charities.
