Sony Music proudly announces the release of SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) featuring original music by multiple Golden Globe nominee Daniel Pemberton. The soundtrack will be released digitally and on CD on December 17, 2018. Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animations' Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will debut in U.S. theaters on December 14.

dick clark productions announced today that Participant Media and DreamWorks Pictures' Green Book, directed by Peter Farrelly and starring Viggo Mortensen, Mahershala Ali and Linda Cardellini, will receive both the “Hollywood Ensemble Award” and “Hollywood Screenwriter Award” at the 22nd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards,” which will take place on Sunday, November 4 at The Beverly Hilton. The TIFF 2018 People's Choice Award winner is written by Peter Farrelly, Nick Vallelonga and Brian Currie and is inspired by a true friendship that in 1962 transcended race, class and the Mason-Dixon line.

With the world premiere double-bill of Nick Dear's Hogarth's Progress currently playing at Rose Theatre Kingston as part of its 10th anniversary season, the company today announces its Spring 2019 season. This will be the first season presented in the venue's newly reconfigured auditorium, with developments taking place in January 2019 following a capital fundraising programme.

The first major stage production of CAPTAIN CORELLI'S MANDOLIN, based on the best-selling novel by Louis de Bernieres will tour the UK in 2019, 25 years after the book was first published. Catalina Film Fest (CFF) is excited to announce it will celebrate 8 years of cinema on beautiful Catalina Island by expanding to a new sister city by the sea: Long Beach. The inaugural partnership will connect the island festival experience to the mainland Sept. 26-30, 2018, bookending CFF with 'launch' and 'landing' premieres, parties and panels Wednesday-Thursday and Sunday in Long Beach. Catalina Island will play host to CFF Friday and Saturday, with Festival-chartered party cruises to and from Catalina Classic Cruises' Queen Mary Terminal daily.

RLJE Films (NASDAQ: RLJE) has acquired all North American rights to The Standoff at Sparrow Creek, the upcoming thriller from CINESTATE and XYZ Films. Written by Henry Dunham who is also making his feature directorial debut, the film stars James Badge Dale (13 Hours), Chris Mulkey (Captain Phillips), Brian Geraghty (NBC's “Chicago P.D”.), Robert Aramayo (HBO's “Game of Thrones”), Patrick Fischler (Showtime's “Twin Peaks”), Happy Anderson (Cinemax's “The Knick”) and Gene Jones (The Hateful Eight). The Standoff at Sparrow Creek will make its world premiere at Midnight Madness at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.  RLJE plans to release the film nationally in theaters and on VOD and Digital HD in early 2019.

ABC has given a 13-episode straight-to-series order to a new crime drama starring Poppy Montgomery, produced by ABC Studios and ABC Studios International in partnership with M6. Montgomery will also executive produce the series, which is based on her idea, along with Ken Sanzel, who will write the series as well as serve as showrunner.
