The Hollywood Critics Association has decided to postpone their 5th Annual HCA Film Awards ceremony. Nicolas Cage, Guillermo del Toro, Jude Hill, Natalie Morales, Alice Brooks, Simu Liu, Greig Fraser, Saniyya Sidney, and the Cast of CODA were previously announced among the special award honorees scheduled to appear.

Nicolas Cage will be receiving this year’s Acting Achievement Award. Guillermo del Toro will be receiving this year’s Filmmaking Achievement Award. Cinematographer Alice Brooks will be honored with the Artisan on the Rise Award. Saniyya Sidney will be presented with the Star on the Rise Award.

Nicolas Cage stars as... Nick Cage in the action-comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. The cast of the new film also features Tiffany Haddish, Sharon Horgan, Ike Barinholtz, Alessandra Mastronardi, Jacob Scipio, Lily Sheen, and Neil Patrick Harris.

West Side Story leads the nominations with 11 nods. Other nominees include Denzel Washington, Andrew Garfield, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Peter Dinklage, Aaron Sorkin, Lady Gaga, Jessica Chastain, Nicole Kidman, and more.

Snook can currently be seen in the HBO Max series Succession. She also starred in Pieces of a Woman, Winchester, Steve Jobs, The Dressmaker, and Predestination. In the film, Snook plays a fertility doctor whose firm grasp on the cycle of life is put to the test as her young daughter begins to exhibit increasingly strange behavior.

The film stars Nicolas Cage, Sofia Boutella (The Mummy), Nick Cassavetes (Face/Off), Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw Franchise), Tak Sakaguchi (Tokyo Tribe) and Yuzuka Nakaya (The Forest of Love). The Gotham Film & Media Institute announced today the nominations for the 31st Annual Gotham Awards, singling out 29 feature films, 16 series, and 32 performances for recognition in twelve award categories. 'Passing' and 'The Lost Daughter' led this year's nominations.

Sarasota Opera has announced the initial lineup for the 2021 summer movie series, which will open with “La Cage aux Folles” on Saturday, June 5.

The tour, which will follow all COVID-19 restrictions and safety protocols, will visit additional markets such as Milwaukee, WI for Summerfest on September 3, New York, NY on September 8, Asbury Park, NJ on September 10, Pittsburgh, PA on September 14 and more.
