 Roxy’s Downtown is excited to present the 8-time Tony Award winning musical Once to Wichita, opening on Wednesday, February 19. Featuring all of the songs from the critically acclaimed film, including the Oscar-winning 'Falling Slowly,' this achingly beautiful, joyously uplifting show strikes an unforgettable chord in audiences.

Dracula, A Comedy of Terrors is a Bram-new comedy that Wichita audiences can really sink their teeth into. Mix a dosage of Rocky Horror, a generous helping of Mel Brooks and a splash of Monty Python and the results are an evening of hilarity.

Roxy’s Downtown is thrilled to present the regional premiere of Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, a 90-minute comedic reimagining of the gothic classic, opening on Wednesday, September 25. The play was first commissioned by the Maltz Jupiter Theatre in Florida and premiered off-Broadway at New World Stages in September 2023.

Roxy's Downtown today announced its new education program as part of its mission to expand access to the arts. Beginning July 13, Roxy’s will offer 5 classes ranging from college audition prep, directing 101, acting for the camera, the art of self-tape auditions, and dialects & accents made easy.

Roxy’s Downtown is thrilled to present the musical sensation Jekyll & Hyde, opening on Thursday, February 22. This timeless tale about the struggle between good and evil blends the classic novella by Robert Louis Stevenson with a mesmerizing score by multi-Grammy- and Tony-nominated Frank Wildhorn and double-Oscar- and Grammy-winning Leslie Bricusse.

Having wanted to start a Summer Theatre at Cowley College for the past five years, director of theatre Nick Albrecht is excited to announce the inaugural season of Summer Theatre thanks to a generous grant from the V.J. Wilkins Foundation and the hardworking staff at Cowley College.   The Summer Theatre will offer two productions as part of this first year: Guys & Dolls by Frank Loesser, Jo Swerling, and Abe Burrows, and Seussical, the musical by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
