The song was written by Lucius (Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe) and Jillian Jacqueline. “Muse” is the first new music from Lucius following their acclaimed new record, Second Nature. The tour kicks off in Copenhagen on January 21st with support from Tommy Raps on a run of European and UK dates. Kimbra makes her way back to North America on February 9th with a show in Nashville alongside Tei Shi, traveling to major cities including New York at Webster Hall and Los Angeles at The Fonda Theatre.

Rising star Sierra Ferrell has announced plans for a headline tour of the US next spring. This run of dates will commence on March 2 in St. Louis and will include stops in Chicago, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Denver, Santa Fe, Phoenix, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle. The McNay Art Museum presents Something Wicked | Susan Hilferty Costumes, featuring thirty of the Tony Award-winning artist's costumes—some from the Broadway musical Wicked, and some never seen before.

The innovative, multi-platinum Canadian duo Tegan and Sara have released Crybaby, their tenth studio album and first release with label Mom+Pop Music. The album release follows the debut of High School, the original coming-of-age series co-created and executive produced by Tegan and Sara Quin and Clea DuVall.

Highlights include stops at such historic venues as Nashville, TN’s Ryman Auditorium (March 4, 2023), New York City’s Beacon Theatre (March 18, 2023), and San Francisco, CA’s The Fillmore (April 26), as well as a special two-night stand at the world- famous Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA (April 27-28, 2023).

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts  has announced the screening of The Reciprocity Project film series Amplifying Indigenous Voices on Sunday, November 13, at 5 p.m. The screening of seven short films will be followed by a talkback presented by contemporary fine art photographer and filmmaker Jeremy Dennis. All proceeds from the screening will go to benefit Ma's House, a nonprofit art space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.

The Catalyst Story Institute has announced its awards for outstanding achievement in independent episodic content at its 17th Annual Content Festival that took place from September 28th through October 1st.

A new piano-centered version of Lucius’ song, “The Man I’ll Never Find,” has debuted. Produced by Dave Cobb and Brandi Carlile, Second Nature is a portrait of Laessig and Wolfe’s shared reflection, chronicling each other’s seismic life shifts—motherhood, divorce, unplanned career pauses—and setting it to music.

The Epstein Theatre will present The Wizard Of Oz from Friday 21 October to Sunday 30 October 2022. The stunning show promises to be packed with fantastic performances, fabulous costumes, and lots of laughs. The panto is directed by Olivia Sloyan.

The iconic punk rock band, X, are re-zooming their annual Holiday tour plans. Exene Cervenka, John Doe, Billy Zoom, and DJ Bonebrake are hitting the West Coast for X-Mas ‘22, their annual holiday tour with stops in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles before finishing up on December 20 in San Diego.

Imaginary People Deluxe Edition is out this Friday via Grand Jury. The deluxe edition will be available for purchase on CD & cassette on Friday, while standard vinyl versions of the album are available now.

Legends, laughter, and love take center stage in STG's 2022/23 Silent Movie Mondays series. Audiences will be treated to films from the 1920s and earlier, including Go West on Nov. 21, It on Feb. 13, Exit Smiling on May 8, and Comedy Shorts on July 31.
